The emission of time signals and standard frequency via DCF77 represents by far the best known and (also geographically) most widely spread procedure to disseminate the legal time realized by PTB for Germany. The following pages describe the service in more detail. Essential information can be called via the following pages.

  1. Location of the transmitter
  2. Transmitting facilities
  3. Signal generation
  4. Carrier frequency
  5. Amplitude modulation
  6. Time code
  7. Transmitter identification
  8. Phase modulation
  9. Range
