Seminar Abteilung 2 - Titel - Next-generation graphene quantized Hall resistance standards: Charge carrier density control, contact design, and crossover-free interconnections

Abstract: Major challenges in establishing next-generation graphene quantized Hall resistance standards concern the sample design and the charge carrier density control. Today’s talk will focus on the minimization of resistance contributions of terminals and contacts by applying superconducting split-contacts, the realization of precisely quantized resistance arrays using crossover-free interconnections and graphene functionalization for charge carrier density control. The presented results comprise most recent works at NIST, applications in electrical quantum metrology and future works at PTB.
