Todays metrology for quantum future
In this talk I will give a brief overview of NPL’s work aiming to support the emerging quantum industry with a few examples from diverse fields of quantum communications, software, sensors, materials, etc. I will then focus on our work underpinning the scalability of superconducting quantum computers and in particular on the understanding and mitigation of the decoherence caused by spurious two-level systems in qubits.
