He is a professor at Energy Institute Bengaluru, India. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kuvempu University, MS by research and PhD degrees in Ocean Engineering from IIT Madras. Prior to his current appointment he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel and University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. His research activities span various areas of friction-fracture process, multi-physics studies of unconventional oil and gas resources, CO-H storage and sequestration.
