Simone Hufnagel was awarded the prize for the best oral presentation at this year's meeting of the German chapter of the "International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM)". In her talk Simone Hufnagel presented a method for the determination of 3D quantitative parameter maps of the heart. This method provides important diagnostic information about the myocardium not only selectively at a few layers, but for the entire heart. This ensures that even small pathologies are not missed.
