Multi-line, multi-spectrum fitting of complete molecular vibrational bands in the IR spectrum: EUMETRISPEC 2

The functionality of the data evaluation procedures of the FT-facility consisting of two high resolution FT-spectrometers was extended. Now, line parameters, like line position and intensity, pressure shift and broadening, and further coefficients of higher order effects (Ha-Tran-profile) can be determined from the spectrum, but also the gas temperature and the amount fraction (concentration) of the molecular species. Thereby whole bands consisting of many individual, spectrally resolved rotational-vibrational transitions are fitted, evaluated and a series of spectra measured at different gas pressures are fitted simultaneously. Using this code, we processed HCl, CO2 and N2O spectra.
