Marie Skłodowska-Curie Grant for Hannes Dillinger

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are a flagship initiative by the European Union, aimed at fostering scientific excellence and promoting international collaboration. These competitive grants support early-stage researchers in developing their careers and broaden their horizons through scientific independence and international mobility. We are thrilled to announce that now the contract papers have been signed for a European Postdoctoral Fellowship awarded to Hannes Dillinger from PTB’s Ultrahigh Field MRI group 8.14. In his MSCA project “Opens external link in new windowInnovative Imaging Insights (I3): Development of MR-compatible Bioreactors for Tissue Engineered Heart Valves”, Hannes will cooperate with colleagues from Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Eindhoven University of Technology to characterize tissue-engineered heart valves by 4-dimensional flow MRI measurements. This important step will guide the further development of a new kind of prostheses for pediatric patients: living implants that can grow together with their young carriers.
