STASIS kicked off

On 11.10.2022, the kick-off meeting for the new EPM project STASIS - Standardisation for Safe Implant Scanning, coordinated by Lukas Winter, took place at PTB's Institut Berlin. The aim of the consortium, in which PTB group 8.11 MR Technology cooperates with research groups from Bratislava (STU), Gelsenkirchen (MR:Comp), Heidelberg (DKFZ), Prague (CMI), Turin (INRiM), and Zurich (IT'IS), is to improve the safety of patients with medical body implants in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner.
