The group's mission is to develop new techniques and procedures in magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and spectroscopy and make them accessible to the biomedical research community. The vast majority of our investigations are done in close collaboration with clinical research groups. Our focus is on MR at high and ultrahigh magnetic fields and special research topics are: quantitative MR spectroscopy in the brain, high-resolution brain imaging for structural studies, functional MRI and MRS, and the fusion of MRI with other modalities.
