Profile
The Working Group is involved with the realization and dissemination of dose quantities for neutron radiation and operates an irradiation facility with neutron sources and several neutron spectrometers. These are used for the characterization of the PTB reference fields and serve to characterize external neutron fields in workplaces, in the environment or in research centers. In addition, the Working Group carries out research projects in collaborations with external groups, for example in medical physics and fusion research.
