Test offer:
Department 6.3 offers type examinations for area and personal dosemeters for the current legal radiation protection measurands. Area and personal dosemeters for photon radiation, which are used in accordance with section 1 paragraph 13 of the Measurement and Verification Ordinance, must have been type-tested by PTB in accordance with section 4 paragraph 4 Measurement and Verification Act. In addition, type testing for radioactive control devices can be performed to extend the calibration validity period according to MessEV Annex 7 number 13.1.

The general order form of PTB Conformity Assessment Body (KBS) as well as a corresponding annex are required.
Costs:
Type examinations are billed according to PTB's currently valid Price List.
