PTB performs calibrations of capillary viscometers on request. This is generally performed through direct comparison with the corresponding capillary viscometer of the National Standard of the unit of viscosity using several calibration liquids of different viscosities at 20 °C. For each viscometer, the viscometer constant is provided to you on a calibration certificate.

The costs will be charged according to the General Terms and Conditions, the current price list of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt and according to the amount of work necessary for the calibration of the Ubbelohde viscometers.
