Spectral pressure broadening coefficients of HCl by methane have been determined by WG 3.42, Those added to the application of spectroscopy sensors in quality control of biomethane as an energy source. The work based on direct tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (dTDLAS) still aims the qualification of the dTDLAS spectrometer operated with an interband cascade laser (ICL) as an absolute measurement technique for the monitoring of HCl concentration (amount fraction) in biomethane.
