For the measurement of field strength of large antenna installations, for the measurement of the interaction of radar systems and wind turbines and for emission measurements of large installations, the working group 2.21 small unmanned aerial vehicles are developed as measurement platform. Commercially available multicopters are modified in order to allow for precise positioning within the automated pathways and for time-synchroneous data acquisition. For different measurement tasks, sensor heads are developed based on measurement receivers.
