Red light enforcement systems used in monitoring the traffic of the documentation of cases of non-compliance with the red light phase alternating light installations (traffic lights). Here, the crossing is over the bar by holding the road surface inductive loop detected. The traffic situation along with the displayed data (eg red light time, yellow light time, date, time) is documented in photos. The first systems with a digital camera are allowed.
The systems vary in their technical capabilities. For instance, some systems also monitor the actual duration of the yellow light phase, others can simultaneously check the speed of cars passing in the vicinity of the traffic light.
