Helmholtz-Prize 2003

In the summer of 2003, the Helmholtz Prize will be awarded in the field of precision measurement in physics, chemistry and medicine. The Prize consists of a certificate and is endowed with 15 000 Euro. The deadline for application is December 15, 2002.

For the first time, scientists from all over Europe are called to apply. The work, which has to be submitted until December 15, 2002, must be a recent research achievement of a theoretical or experimental nature, either contributing to fundamentals or aiming at concrete applications. It must have been developed in Europe or in cooperation with scientists working in Germany. To participate in the competition, the application must be sent to: The Chairman of the Helmholtz-Fonds e.V., Prof. Dr. E. O. Göbel, President of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, Bun-desallee 100, 38116 Braunschweig, Germany.
