Studies and vocational training all of a piece

Cooperation agreement between PTB and Ostfalia University signed

30.11.2009

Electrotechnology in a practice union, abbreviated as ETiP - the so-called new vocational training offer of PTB, in Braunschweig. Hidden behind this term is, on the one hand, an apprenticeship in electronics for devices and systems at PTB. At the same time - and this is what's special - the apprentices complete the study of electrotechnology in the field of information technology at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. On Friday, 27 November 2009, the cooperation agreement was signed at PTB by Prof. Dr. Ernst Otto Göbel, President of PTB, Prof. Manfred Peters, Vice-president of PTB, Prof. Dr. Wolf-Rüdiger Umbach, President of Ostfalia, and Prof. Dr. Peter Stuwe, Decan of the Electrotechnology Department of Ostfalia.
