Die PTB ist an zwei neuen großen EU-Projekten zum Thema künstliche Intelligenz beteiligt. Beide tragen das Kürzel TEF im Namen, was für „Testing and Experimentation Facility“ steht. Das Projekt TEF-Health soll innovative Ansätze in KI und Robotik im Gesundheitswesen prüfen und diese schneller zur Marktreife bringen. Das Projekt TEFAI- MATTERS widmet sich mit demselben Ziel innovativen KI-basierten Ansätzen in Robotik und Sensorik im Fertigungsbereich, etwa in der Produktion. Die Projekte sind Teil des Programms „Digital Europe“ und werden mit je 60 Millionen Euro gefördert. Ziel ist es, Qualitätsstandards für vernetzte Daten und KI auf messbare Größen zurückzuführen und so das Vertrauen in KI-Systeme zu stärken. Um das enorme Potenzial der Quantentechnologien in die Praxis umzusetzen, braucht es Fachkräfte. Gerade für den Transfer vom Labor in die Industrie und die Produktentwicklung fehlen qualifiziertes Personal und eine zentrale Anlaufstelle für ihre Fortbildung. Daher ist das Verbundprojekt „Quantum Technology Courses for Industry“ (QTIndu) gestartet. Unter Beteiligung der TU Braunschweig, des Quantum Valley Lower Saxony (QVLS) und der PTB entsteht bei QTIndu ein europaweites Netzwerk für Quantentechnologie-Fortbildung. Scientific publications

Research collaborations
