What PTB offers school children

What is PTB actually researching? What is the work of PTB's staff like and what vocational training is available here? From lessons in experimenting to introductory work experience – there are various age-appropriate ways for school children and students to get to know PTB from within.

Girls' Day/Boys' Day!

PTB takes part in the annual Girls' Day/Boys' Day, which is usually in April. Girls and boys who are at least 13 years old or who are in year 8 can then see what PTB staff do and learn more about vocational training at PTB. If you are interested, please make sure you apply early enough, as there are only a limited number of places. More information is available here on this website each February/March.

scientific experiments for primary school pupils

Once a week PTB offers a lesson in experimental physics. Any interested primary school classes can register for one of these "taster" lessons at PTB. But best of all, you can start a "WissensForscher-AG" (KnowledgeSearcher Club) in your own school! There should be enough useful ideas for you here.
