The European standardization bodies CEN and CENELEC, the International Organization for Standardization ( ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) draw up standards, which (as a rule) can be voluntarily observed by industry.
EA
The “European co-operation for Accreditation” is an association in which the Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD, German Calibration Service) and other European accreditation bodies have joined together.
