Since 1985 the Industrie- und Handelskammer Braunschweig
(IHK, Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce) has awarded the annual IHK
Technology Transfer Prize endowed with 10,000 EUR. The prize is awarded for the
successful transfer process. The following PTB working groups have so far been honoured.

Dr. Hans Friedrich, Dr. Volker Wagner and Dr. Peter Wille, GKSS-Geesthacht, for:
High-tech neutron velocity selector

Dr. Günter Wilkening and Dr.-Ing. Xianbin Zhao for:
Capacitive motion pick-up of highest resolution for micro- and nanotechnology
2004
Dr. Franz Wäldele, Matthias Franke, Dr. Frank Härtig, Dr. Heinrich Schwenke and
Dr. Eugen Trapet for:
The virtual coordinate measuring machine - a simulation process for precision engineering
2005
Prof. Dr. Manfred Peters for:
Stress-free dental implant system
These awards are examples of the successful transfer to industry
of the technology of measuring equipment developed at PTB.
