Tasks

The sector Explosion Protection performs conformity assessments of explosion protection devices, basially electrical and non-eletrical equipment and protective systems of group II for gas/vapours (G) as well as flamable dusts (D) in the categories 1, 2 and 3.

Accreditation

The sector Explosion Protection accredited by the Central Office for Safety Technology of the Federal States (ZLS) as well as by the German Accreditation System for testing (DAP) and "Accepted Certification Body (ExCB)" as well as "Accepted Testing Laboratory(ExTL)" within the IECEx Scheme according the IECEx rules.
