Tasks

• Monitoring and calibration of standard measuring devices for the realization and dissemination of the units "volume" and "mass" and/or "flowrate" of gas in motion in the high-pressure range on the national standard "pigsar™" (8-5600 m³/h, 1,6-5,2 MPa) in cooperation with the Ruhrgas AG
• Calibration of standard devices for high-pressure test rigs (dissemination of the units)
• Development and use of IT methods for calibrations (telecalibration)
• Preparation, performance and evaluation of bilateral and multilateral comparison measurements in the high-pressure range
  Elaboration of procedures for the harmonized dissemination of the unit of volume of high-pressure natural gas in Europe
• Development and use of novel realization methods on the national standard "pigsar™" for the realization of an optical standard
