The test facilities for the approval and certification of weighing instruments and load cells are accommodated in the Leibniz Building and in the Weighing Hall of the Gauss Building. These facilities are used only by the personnel of  Working Group 1.12. For load cell testing above 5 t deadweight force standard machines of Working Group 1.21 are used. The EM radiation (HF) facilities are located in the Ohm Building and are maintained by technicians of Working Group 2.21 .
