[PTB/TU] From 1st to 4th September 2008, Goslar will be the leading address for metrology: 36 young researchers from India, China, Palastina, Thailand, Czech Republic and Germany are meeting here in the Hotel Kaiserworth for the international "Summer School of Metrology" in order to learn from the best and to create their own networks. The 15 renowned instructors from science and industry include, among others, the Nobel Prize winner Prof. Klaus von Klitzing. He will give the particpants an understanding of the quantum Hall effect, which he discovered. The Summer School is a part of the International Graduate School of Metrology, but is also directed towards additional young leading specialists in this field.
