New mirror concept makes the manufacturing of frequency-stable lasers simpler
A novel mirror concept, which has been developed at PTB and has already been patented, allows Fabry Perot resonators to be operated at room temperature without thermal noise becoming a problem. The new concept makes the manufacturing of frequency-stable lasers easier.
