The conference dinner will take place on Wednesday 26th June 2019. For our conference dinner we will be guests in the Council Hall of the Old Town Hall in Braunschweig called Dornse. The oldest part of the Town Hall was built in the 13th century and is one of the most important medieval Town Halls in Germany. It consists of two rectangularly built parts. In one the columns supporting the balcony of the first floor you can find the Ell of Braunschweig, one of the first attempts to standardise measures at least in one political region. With its 57.07 cm it served especially the drapers as reference to ensure a uniform measure for trade.
