Contributions to the position uncertainty of a generatrix do result from the uncertainties of the diameter differences in both reference planes and the uncertainties of the straightness data-points nearby those planes. The uncertainty of the touching-ball diameter does not contribute to the generatrix position. Taking this into account, an uncertainty of UP = 0,035 µm for the generatrices positions results.
