Event

Processing of Quantum Information in RSFQ Circuits and Qubits
(336. Wilhelm und Else Heraeus-Seminar)

Date November 29 - December 1, 2004

Venue and location The seminar takes place at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef (Germany); how to get there is described very detailed at the "how to get there" page of the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef.

Description

Objectives of the seminar

This conference aims to promote technological innovation in the area of superconducting electronics. In the fields of Rapid Single Flux Quantum (RSFQ) circuitry and Josephson qubits, several concepts for new and exciting superconducting devices have emerged in the last years. It is a major goal of this meeting to bring together the expertise acquired in these fields scattered over Europe, to promote dissemination of knowledge, and to include linking with Japanese and U.S.A.'s key laboratories.

Objectives of the seminar are to discuss recent developments of integrated digital superconducting circuits and new devices on the basis of Josephson junction technology for the processing of quantum information by superconducting logic in RSFQ circuits and qubits.

This seminar is supported by the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus-Stiftung.

Topics of the seminar

  • Superconducting circuit design and analysis,
  • Superconducting circuit fabrication,
  • Superconducting circuit interfacing,
