9th IFAC Symposium on Biological and Medical Systems, BMS 2015
On behalf of the International Program Committee and the National Organizing Committee it is our pleasure to welcome you to the 9th IFAC Symposium on Biological and Medical Systems in Berlin, Germany.
It is the second time that this IFAC symposium will be hosted in Germany after Karlsburg/ Greifswald in 2000, where both Symposium Chairs attended this symposium for the first time. The application for Berlin as BMS 2015 location was an initiative of the German Technical Committee Automation in Medicine which integrated their regular workshop AUTOMED into the IFAC symposium this year.
The symposium will address problems in biomedicine, physiology and biology relating to
- biological and medical system modeling,
- biosignal analysis, processing and interpretation,
- biomedical imaging systems and image processing,
- control systems,
- decision support systems,
- machine learning,
- simulation and visualization and
- system identification and validation.
