Since 1985 the 
Industrie- und Handelskammer Braunschweig (IHK, Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce) has awarded the annual IHK Technology Transfer Prize endowed with 10,000 EUR. The prize is awarded for the successful transfer process. The following PTB working groups have so far been honoured.

Prof. Dr. Manfred Peters for:
Stress-free dental implant system
These awards are examples of the successful transfer to industry of the technology of measuring equipment developed at PTB.
