Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt

The PTB–Mitteilungen are the metrological specialist journal and the official information bulletin of the Physikalisch–Technische Bundesanstalt. As a specialist journal the PTB–Mitteilungen publish original scientific contributions and general articles on metrological subjects from the areas of activities of the PTB. The individual volumes are focused on one subject. As the official journal, the Mitteilungen have a long tradition dating back to the beginnings of the Physikalisch–Technische Reichsanstalt (founded in 1887). In their column "Public Notices", they publish, among other things, what devices are being tested and approved for verification, for test centres and the health system, for radiation protection and safety engineering.

The PTB-Mitteilungen are published four times yearly (only in German). The annual subscription costs 55 Euro and the individual volume 16,50 Euro, plus forwarding expenses.
