Experiencing the ForschungRegion Braunschweig
The PTB in the museum. From June 29 to November 5, 2000, the PTB presented itself at the exhibition "fut[o]ur" at the Landesmuseum Braunschweig (Burgplatz) under the heading "Measuring Man".
Braunschweig is a city full of researchers. Practically nowhere is the density of research higher. The scientific institutes having their seat here (16 in total) have formed a working group, the so-called "ForschungRegion Braunschweig" (Braunschweig Research Region). With the exhibition at the Braunschweig Landesmuseum on the Burgplatz, this concentrated research was brought to the focus: At the same time as the EXPO 2000 in Hannover, a joint exhibition was held by the research institutes and the Landesmuseum under the heading "fut[o]ur". An exhibition which contributed to research becoming a concrete experience.
Duration of the exhibition: June 30 to November 5, 2000.
