Die Arbeitsgruppe „Metrologie geringster Magnetfelder" beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung von neuartigen biomagnetischen Messverfahren. Dafür werden hochsensitive magnetische SQUID-Messsysteme eingesetzt und weiterentwickelt. Weiterhin beschäftigen wir uns mit der Optimierung von magnetischen Schirmungen und betreiben den weltweit am besten magnetisch geschirmten begehbaren Raum BMSR-2.

    world-wide best magnetically shielded accessible room for high-resolution magnetic measurements using a 304-channel-SQUID-magnetometer system
  • Facility for Low Field NMR/MRI (Zuse-Kabine) 2+1 layer magnetically shielded room with highly sensitive 1-channel-SQUID system
  • Portable 6-channel-SQUID system and portable 18-channel-SQUID system for characterization of magnetically shielded rooms
