This blog is written by two female firefighters. Well, they are actually PTB scientists, but their topic has a lot to do with a fire drill and is therefore officially called "firedrill". Their mission: to ensure that even better PCR methods for virus detection are available even faster during the next virus pandemic. Of course, others will also be involved in this. But the two of them represent the typical, original PTB task here: to ensure that measurement methods are reliable and comparable. and in their blogposts, they tell us what has to done.
