• Development of a modular Monte Carlo simulation program for modeling of the physical probe-sample interaction and the imaging process in SEM
• Development and application of procedures for tip reconstruction and for modeling of the probe-sample interaction in SPM
• Modeling and application of SEM and SPM measurement techniques for quantitative characterization of nanoparticles
