Working Group 2.35
Tasks
The tasks of the Working Group lie in the fields of legally regulated metrology and industrial metrology. They are of great significance because both, the transmission of electric energy from the producer to the consumer and the invoicing of the energy consumed at High Voltages and currents must take place with high reliability and accuracy.
In detail, the tasks of the Working Group are the following:
- Research and development work aimed at devising new measuring methods, automating the acquisition of measurement data and constructing measuring facilities in the fields stated
- Testing and calibration of instrument transformers, instrument transformer test sets, burdens, burden test sets and peak voltmeters for the state-approved test centres for electricity and other applicants
- Technical cooperation with other countries in the establishment or improvement of the measurement system
