Conformity Assessment of Measuring Instruments for Electricity
Working Group 2.34
Tasks
In the field of instruments for metering of electric energy for invoicing purposes – electricity meters and supplementary devices as well as instrument transformers - the Working Group deals with the following tasks in order to assist manufacturers, users, and supervising authorities:
- type approval resp. conformity assessment
- evaluation of processes for quality management in metrology
- practical application of the „European Measuring Instruments Directive“ (MID)
- development of new solutions for legal metrology
