You would like to know how time is made?. You want to have a look at the national prototype kilogram? You are interested in knowing what a laser has to do with a meter? Or you want to know how a volt or an ohm is realized with highest precision? Or, or, or....?
You can investigate these and other questions regarding the subject "metrology" in situ in a group of visitors (the group should comprise seven persons). You only have to arrange a visiting date at PTB. If you bring some hours of time with you, you will get a brief introduction into the PTB’s tasks, organization and history and go on a tour through selected laboratories (the number of laboratories depends on your time budget).
