The sector Weighing Instruments and dimensional measuring instruments of the certification body of the PTB performs conformity assessments of weighing instruments and dimensions measuring instruments subject to legal control as well as capacity serving measures and weights.
Service offer
The service offer of the sector comprises:
- EC type-approval certificates of non-automatic weighing instruments according to directivce 2009/23/EC Annex II (1)
- Evaluation certificates and parts certificates of components of weighing instruments according to WELMEC-Guide 8.8
- Revisions to Test certificates of components of non-automatic weighing instruments according to WELMEC 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5
- OIML certificates within the OIML Basic Certificate System according to OIML B3 (R16, R49, R50, R51, R58, R60, R61, R76, R85, R88, R98, R99, R102, R105, R106, R107, R109, R114, R115, R117, R126, R129, R133 and R136)
- OIML certificates within the OIML MAA according to OIML B10 (R60 and R76)
